🃏 FreeCell Christmas
FreeCell Christmas wraps the classic Freecell puzzle in a cozy holiday look. Clear the tableau, use the four free cells wisely, and build every suit from Ace to King on the foundations.
About FreeCell Christmas
This is a single-deck Freecell game where all 52 cards are dealt face up into eight tableau piles. Your job is to patiently untangle the layout and send every card to the foundations in suit.
How to play
Setup
- Tableau: 8 piles of face-up cards.
- Free Cells: 4 open slots (each holds 1 card).
- Foundations: 4 piles, one per suit, built from Ace to King.
Legal moves
- Move only the top card of a tableau pile, or a card from a free cell.
- Build tableau piles down in rank while alternating colors (red/black).
- Place cards onto foundations by suit, starting with Aces.
- You usually move one card at a time, but ordered groups can be moved if you have enough open free cells and/or empty tableau columns.
Win condition
You win when all 52 cards are stacked on the foundations from Ace through King, suit by suit.
Tips & tricks
- Keep free cells empty whenever possible. Empty slots equal freedom.
- Chase an empty column early. A blank tableau column is a powerful parking spot.
- Promote low cards to the foundations, but don’t rush if it blocks key tableau moves.
- Plan two moves ahead: every card you trap under a wrong color costs time later.
- Use free cells as “temporary hands”, not permanent storage.
Game controls
- Mouse: click and drag cards, or click to move when a legal destination exists.
- Touch: tap and drag cards with your finger.
Features
- Classic Freecell rules with a festive Christmas theme
- Single-deck, skill-forward solitaire puzzle
- Short, satisfying games that reward planning
- Playable on desktop and mobile
FreeCell Christmas — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the goal in FreeCell Christmas?
Move every card to the four foundations, building each suit from Ace to King.
How do the free cells work?
There are four free cells, and each one can hold exactly one card as temporary storage.
Can I move more than one card at once?
Most moves are one card at a time, but sequences can be moved when you have enough empty free cells and/or empty tableau columns.
How do I build on the tableau?
Build downward by rank while alternating colors (for example, a black 7 can take a red 6).
When should I move cards to the foundations?
Move Aces and low cards up early, but avoid moves that lock you out of creating empty columns or freeing key cards.
